Profile of Success
Heather U. (#2406) lives in Avondale, AZ and is a retired Police Officer. On top of being a Pet Consultant, she owns her own Pet Nanny business. Heather was at a Pet Expo about 2 years ago promoting her business, and the space next to me was Deanna M. #486, a Pet Consultant with Shure Pets. Heather bought some products from Deanna and chatted with her a bit. Deanna mailed Heather catalogs periodically throughout the next two years. Out of the blue one night, Heather was lying in bed about to go to sleep and thought 'Hey I could sell Shure Pets products.' She immediately searched the house for the last catalog she had received and finally found it. Heather called Deanna the next day and signed up as a Pet Consultant. She started calling family and friends and had my first two parties booked before her kit arrived!
Heather says she has had a lot of fun so far meeting new people and their pets. Heather says, "Sharing the GRReat products Shure Pets offers is rewarding and they practically sell themselves. I just have to get the parties booked!"
Heather has a supportive family that tells her she can achieve anything she puts her mind to, and she believes them! Heather is confident that she is going to achieve success with Shure Pets. Cats in International Falls, Minnesota, are not allowed to chase dogs up telephone poles.
An ordinance in Belvedere, California, states "No dog shall be in a public place without its master on a leash."
Another misworded ordinance is this one from Arvada, Colorado: "If a stray pet is not claimed within 24 hours, the owner will be destroyed."
In Sterling, Colorado, it is unlawful to allow a pet cat to run loose without a taillight.
Cats living in Cresskill, New Jersey, must wear three bells to warn birds of their whereabouts.
A Fountain Inn, South Carolina, law once required horses to wear pants at all times. But carriage horses in Charleston, South Carolina, were required to wear diapers.

Pet Shampoo vs Human Shampoo
Ever wonder if pet shampoos are worth buying? Why not just use human shampoos on your pet instead? Actually human shampoo can be very dangerous for your pet. Human shampoos use ethyl alcohol for binding a chemical chain to break down oils. When human shampoos are used on dogs and cats, the shampoo will extract the natural oils needed for a healthy coat. Ethyl alcohol also will penetrate the skin and find its way into the tissues and bloodstream, which can be fatal for your pet if blood concentrations reach sufficient levels. It is not required by law that ethyl alcohol be listed on a label, so you cannot guarantee that a human shampoo does not contain it unless they specifically state that it is not used in their product. Our shampoos have no ethyl alcohol, which can penetrate pet's skin and cause toxicity. Our pet shampoos have a neutral pH of 7.0, which means they are incredibly gentle. Human shampoos can range in pH levels, but are generally more acidic, which is another reason why they are bad for use on pets. Our entire line of pet shampoos are formulated to be gentle and act only on the surface of the skin. This makes them so safe that they can even be used in pregnant or nursing animals. |
